Come away with your own beautiful work of art! Join local artist, John Vanderheyden for this Acrylic [water base] painting class for beginners to intermediate level, ages 10 and older.We’ll discuss line and form, studying different objects and buildings at Shakori Hills. Students may choose subject matter such as the coffee barn, tractors, buses, house, trees and garden. More info as class and date draws nearer! Workshop is free and open to the public. Materials List:*

1–12 x16 or 14 x 18 canvas

2– paint brushes [one small for lines and one about a half inch for shapes]

Small set of acrylic paints with primary and secondary colors (optional – we have extra paint)

*Scholarships available to cover materials costs. Email us after registering if assistance with materials is needed.
