March 11th, 11am – 4pm
Coach: Marie Vanderbeck
Singing feels good on the body and nurtures the soul. If you have ever sung – in the shower, in your car, to your children, to yourself; if you’ve ever hummed a tune, sang la la la – then you are a singer! Join us for this one-day workshop where we will sing with each other in a friendly, fun and supportive environment. All singing will be unaccompanied and taught “by ear” – no need to be able to read music. We will sing songs in unison and in harmony.
Start time is 11am. We’ll break for a brown bag lunch around noon and then go until 4pm.
Type of songs: Appalachian, Country, Pop, Gospel/Spiritual, and others
$30 Suggested Donation. Participants taken on a first-registration basis, regardless of ability to make donation. If you do not have the means to make all or part of the donation, we still want you to come sing! If you have the means to give more, it will help cover the cost of offering the workshop.
