Shakori Hills is a beautiful, 72-acre, turn-of-the-century farmstead with ancient oak trees, rolling meadows, winding dirt roads, and plenty of both woods and open space. It is operated by the Shakori Hills Community Arts Center, a North Carolina 501(c)(3) organization.

In the last ten years, much of the infrastructure needed to support and sustain a community arts center has been built. There is a permanent stage, a well-kept barn (known as the Old Oak BarN), campgrounds, a ticket booth, nice gravel roads, a shower house, several shelters and outbuildings, good deep-well drinking water, and a whole lot of beauty. A 10-stall permanent restroom is also onsite and available for your events. With these amenities, Shakori Hills serves as an ideal venue for a wide variety of activities and events. Shakori Hills is available for use by your arts, education or community group. We also rent the site for private parties and weddings, which helps offset our operating costs.

Additional rental questions can be sent to info@shakorihills.org or feel free to call the office at 919-704-9174.
