Singing Fearlessly

January 23 - February 27

Tuesdays, 6:00 - 8:00pm

Downtown Pittsboro, FREE Class

Let’s sing!

It has been said, by scientists, that singers have greater circuit connections between right and left brain.  Also, it has been said, by doctors, that singing alters our molecules resulting in an analgesic body feeling.  And it also has been said that singing is just plain fun.

Join Shakori Hills Workshop Veteran, Marie Vanderbeck, for the next edition of this successful singing series! This five week course will be held in downtown Pittsboro (address provided at registration) and is free and open to the public.

Each class builds on the previous one so you’re never out of step.  Marie will teach breath control, phrasing, vocal exercises, increasing your range, how to sing the “truth,” how to learn new songs, etc. You’ll work on strengthening and relaxing your voice for optimal impact, and you’ll take home skills to get you on your way.

Together you will explore individual as well as group techniques and harmonies.  This is a fun, active, “no-judgment,” safe environment so prepare to bring a song or two to share with the group.

If you’ve always wanted to sing, feel more confident, or want to improve your skills, then this is the class for you!

You can join this 6-week program, on Tuesdays January 23 through February 27 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM, provided that we reach the minimum number of registrants for best class dynamics.

Complete the form below to register or for more information! Let’s sing together – it’s good for your body as well as your soul.

PS – This class will be indoors – masks are totally acceptable!!
